Getting Around Chicago

Chicago Marathon

Due to the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 13, vehicle access to the hotel may be limited or prohibited between 6 AM - 10 AM. The full street closure details will be available later this summer. Sign up here for updates. Though streets by the hotel will be closed, you may still cross all streets on foot. 

Additional travel time will vary. Lakeshore Drive, Lower Wacker and all expressways will remain accessible. We recommend checking the street closure times later this summer for a more informed estimate.

Airport Transportation

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) are the closest airports 18 and 12 miles away respectively from the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk.

Taxis and ride share services (Uber, Lyft) are available. The average taxi fare is $64 one way.

Public transportation is available from Chicago O'Hare by the CTA Blue Line and from Midway by the CTA Orange Line.

Car Rentals

Thirteen rental car companies (including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty) operate at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Prices will vary.
