Annual Gifts
The Annual Appeal, a yearly donation request, is a great opportunity for those who do not typically support the Foundation for Venous & Lymphatic Disease to invest in the advancement of the specialty.
Funds received through the Annual Appeal are allocated to additional projects in the given year, which are not previously budgeted by the FVLD. While major gifts and campaign giving are focused on longer-term goals of the FVLD, Appeal donors can target the development of specific projects with their support.
Annual Appeal to Fund On-Going Projects
The FVLD successfully completed the NewHorizon campaign, December 31, 2019, raising support for new advocacy, research and education initiatives. Some on-going efforts fall outside the scope of funding from New Horizon, so the FVLD has designed the Annual Appeal to support these key programs. Donations to the Annual Appeal will continue to reinforce the specialty of venous and lymphatic medicine through scholarships and specific research grants.
How Your Support is Used
The Annual Appeal will fund on-going projects of the FVLD such as:
- AVLS Annual Congress Physician Student Scholarships
- Research Grants
- ABVLM Fellowship Program
