To qualify for 2020 Annual Congress Member Pricing, you must maintain an active membership status through October 18, 2020. If your membership lapses between your registration date and October 18, we will ask that you either renew your membership or pay the non-member rate before accessing the 2020 AVLS Annual Congress content.
Recorded Content
All of the general and concurrent sessions will be recorded and available for purchase. Pre-order these recordings as a part of your registration to take advantage of the reduced rate.
Individuals who pre-purchase will receive email notification when the recordings are available, likely sometime in January 2021.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees will be refunded in full for registrations received by 11:59 PM on June 30, 2020, upon written notice of cancellation to the AVLS headquarters office via email to [email protected] or fax to 510-346-6808. Registrations received on July 1, 2020, or later will be refunded less a $295.00 administrative fee upon written notice of cancellation. In order to qualify for a refund of fees, your cancellation notice must be received no later than October 10, 2020. There will be no refund of fees for cancellations received after that date or for lack of attendance. Refunds will be processed after Congress is complete. Donations to attend Foundation for Venous & Lymphatic Disease Fundraisers are non-refundable.

Will the programming for Annual Congress be affected by the transition to a virtual-only format?
All sessions will be live streamed throughout the day including concurrent sessions on Oct. 15-18 for a total of 24.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Restructured programming includes expanded committee meetings and similar events throughout the week prior to Congress. On-demand content allows attendees to participate in as much or as little of each day of the Live Congress event and continue to engage with recorded content through Dec. 31, 2020 for the opportunity to earn up to a total of 80.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
I already registered to attend Annual Congress in-person. What happens now that the price has decreased?
We are providing in-person registrants with the following options:
- Donate the difference in registration to the AVLS as a charitable donation.
- Apply the difference in registration to 2021 Annual Congress in Denver, CO.
- Request a refund of the difference in registration. Refunds will be processed within 60-90 days.
Will my hotel reservation be refunded?
Yes. Registered attendees with hotel reservations will be automatically refunded by the Washington Hilton within 45 to 60 days. All communications regarding refunds will be sent directly from the Hilton. If you have questions regarding your reservation, please contact the Washington Hilton at +1 (202) 483-3000.
How do I earn CME?
Physician attendees will be able to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ by attending the livestream sessions or by watching the livestream recordings. The livestream recordings will be available through December 31. Attendees will still be able to claim CME for sessions attended throughout Annual Congress. Will I still be able to engage with Exhibitors?
Yes! The Innovation Pavilion will open at 8:00 AM EDT on Thursday, October 15, and remain open through the end of Annual Congress. The Virtual Innovation Pavilion will include a Scavenger Hunt for prices including a discount for 2021 Annual Congress, and a Product Showcase allowing you to browse by product type. Interact with Exhibitors through video chat and watch live-streamed presentations in the New Horizon Innovation Theatre.
